Action Architecture

Our Working Assumption is that websites shouldn't just look good; they should help an organization achieve its goals.

Benefits of NetStrategies' Action Architecture:

  • Defines key audiences and identifies ways to attract them to your site.
  • Uses technology and marketing, in combination, to help site visitors accomplish specific, measurable actions.
  • Directs site visitors to the specific "action areas" within your site.
  • Optimizes each "action area" to streamline the audience experience and maximize results.

To us, optimization includes a hard look at the details, including your website's physical infrastructure. This is a crucial and often neglected area that can affect speed, reliability, and even whether your domain is found “acceptable” to search engines. Too often, we have found client websites that are sub-optimal due to hosting-related factors.

For those clients who need it, NetStrategies offers optional hosting capabilities that provide distinct advantages including reliability, security, speed, and customer support. Our Data Center uses industry-leading Dell servers. We ensure that your site is accessible to search engines by ensuring that all IP addresses are uncorrupted and “clean.”

Creative Design and Information Architecture

Information architecture and creative design go hand in hand. It's another example of how NetStrategies combines marketing and technology to deliver online marketing results for organizations. To inform the design and identify the key content for each audience, we look at:

  • Site messaging and how the organization desires to be perceived.
  • Target audience identification and prioritization based on how they relate to the goals of the organization.

Simply put, information architecture (IA) is the structure of the information on the site. IA is not a basic organization of content. Effective IA is driven by how the primary site audiences expect to access the information and what you want those people to do on the site. In this stage, we review what you plan to publish and determine the best way to organize it so that site visitors can quickly and easily find the information they seek. IA is defined in a diagram showing the site navigation and content groups.

Good creative design must be both attractive and functional. Attractive design reinforces branding and appeals to the target audience. A key aspect of functional design is using layout, format, color, images, and overall design to emphasize and highlight the online actions defined as the value-based goals of the organization.
