Rodney Loges, Certified eMarketer
President

Rodney believes everything in Internet marketing is measurable and strives to drive online results for his customers every day. He originated the idea of the Online Performance Hierarchy, much like Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. In essence, all websites start out in the earliest stage, inviting, and progress through the more advanced stages of interesting, engaging, and empowering. His hope is to help clients progress through those stages.

As a senior executive of two profitable Internet companies, Rodney was responsible for over $100,000,000 in Web marketing and online channel sales. As the "Revenue Master" for digitalNation, he helped grow the business from the first 20 clients to over 4,000. At RackSpace, he started the Advanced Hosting division-complex hosting configurations that were needed to make the Internet's first social networking sites function.

As a digital marketer, Rodney worked with numerous Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia firms to generate online leads and grow product sales. He founded NetStrategies in 2002. Rodney is an alumnus of Miami University in Ohio.

Rodney explains what sets NetStrategies apart from other Internet marketing consultants:

Increasing online traffic does not necessarily help clients increase qualified leads or build better relationships with existing customers. For a Web site to drive real results, you must pay close attention to everything. We call our holistic approach: online performance optimization. “Site speed, links, quality content, calls to action, hosting, analytics… all of these and more factor into a successful online presence.

Our fully integrated approach to Internet marketing uses a unified marketing dashboard that incorporates best-of-class Internet marketing tools, certified industry experts, and real-time monitoring of opportunities and threats to help each client achieve measurable results.

NetStrategies develops long-term business relationships.

We believe performance metrics are valuable and that you have to plan for continual, incremental improvement to stay ahead in business. Today we rarely do short-term projects. Now it's about helping clients visualize the potential for their online businesses and mapping a strategy to help them reach that potential.

What is it about working with clients that gives this president the greatest satisfaction?

I get excited when I see clients succeed and it's even better when they credit their success to NetStrategies!

Rodney discusses his first business venture and lessons learned:

In college, I started a business that delivered beer kegs to fraternity houses. As you can imagine, it took off! Even the campus administrators supported us because we conducted business in a responsible way. Later we added additional services – ice, party stuff, etc. I learned to listen to our customers and pay close attention to details. Funny how those early lessons stick with you.
